Accessibility Statement
Last updated July 1, 2026
A tool meant to remove barriers should not create new ones. Here is how we approach accessibility, the standard we hold ourselves to, and how to reach us if something is not working for you.
1. Our commitment
Benefit Bull exists to help people find assistance they have every right to. That only works if the tool itself is usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, voice control, or other assistive technology. We are committed to making benefitbull.com accessible and to keeping it that way as the product grows.
2. The standard we follow
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium. These guidelines are the widely recognized benchmark for accessible websites and are the standard most commonly referenced under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Practically, that means we work to make sure the site:
- Can be operated fully with a keyboard, without a mouse.
- Works with common screen readers and exposes clear labels and structure.
- Uses text and background colors that meet minimum contrast ratios.
- Has meaningful text alternatives for images and icons.
- Shows a visible focus indicator so you always know where you are.
- Uses proper headings, landmarks, and form labels.
- Respects your system setting to reduce motion.
- Adapts to smaller screens and to larger text sizes.
3. What we do to get there
We build accessibility into how we work, not as an afterthought. We test with automated accessibility tools during development, review pages for keyboard and screen reader use, and fix issues we find. We treat accessibility problems as real bugs, not nice-to-haves.
4. Known limitations and ongoing work
Accessibility is ongoing, not a one-time checkbox. Some content or third-party components may not yet fully meet every guideline, and new features can introduce new issues before we catch them. When we find a gap, we prioritize fixing it. If you run into a barrier, we want to hear about it so we can address it quickly.
5. Tell us about a problem
If you have trouble using any part of Benefit Bull, or you need information in a different format, contact us and we will help. Please tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology or browser you were using, so we can reproduce and fix the issue.
