Terms of Service

Last updated July 1, 2026

These terms keep things clear between you and us. They explain what Benefit Bull is, what it is not, how contact by phone and text works, and how we handle disagreements. Plain language, no traps.

Benefit Bull is a private company, not a government agency, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any government program. We do not decide eligibility and do not guarantee any benefit or payment. Using Benefit Bull is free, and you can apply for any public program directly through the responsible agency.

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service are a contract between you and Benefit Bull. They govern your use of benefitbull.com and our related services. By creating an account, using the service, or checking the box that says you accept these terms, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Benefit Bull.

Please read the communications consent section and the dispute resolution section carefully. They affect your legal rights, including how you can be contacted and how disputes are resolved.

2. Benefit Bull is not the government

Benefit Bull is a private company. We are not a government agency. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or acting on behalf of any federal, state, or local government or any official benefit program. Any references to government programs are for identification and information only.

You do not need to use Benefit Bull to apply for any public program, and you never have to pay us to find programs or review your matches. You can always apply directly through the responsible agency, for free.

3. What Benefit Bull does, and who can use it

Benefit Bull helps you discover assistance programs you may qualify for, understand their estimated value, and find the next step to apply. It is an information and matching tool. You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use it. You agree to give accurate information and to keep your account details up to date, since the quality of your matches depends on it.

4. No guarantee of eligibility, approval, or payment

Matches and dollar figures shown in Benefit Bull are estimates based on the information you provide and on published program rules. They are not a promise that you qualify, that you will be approved, or that you will receive any specific amount.

Only the agency or organization that runs a program decides eligibility and payment, under its own rules, which can change at any time. We work to keep our catalog accurate and current, but we do not warrant that every detail is complete or free of error. Always confirm the details with the official program before you rely on them.

5. Not legal, financial, tax, or benefits advice

Benefit Bull provides general information, not professional advice. Nothing in the service is legal, financial, tax, medical, or benefits counseling, and using it does not create a professional or advisory relationship. For advice about your specific situation, consult a qualified professional or contact the responsible agency.

6. Your responsibilities

You agree that you will:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
  • Keep your login credentials secure and not share your account.
  • Use Benefit Bull only for lawful, personal purposes.
  • Not misuse the service, including by attempting to access it without authorization, interfering with its operation, scraping it at scale, reverse engineering it, or using it to harm others.
  • Not submit false claims or use the service to commit fraud against any program.

7. Communications consent, calls, and text messages

This section describes how we contact you and the consent you give under the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act and related state laws. Read it before you give us a phone number.

Service messages

When you have an account, we may send messages needed to run the service, such as verification, security alerts, and account notices. These are not marketing messages and are part of using Benefit Bull.

Consent to marketing calls and texts

If you provide a phone number and agree, you give Benefit Bull your prior express consent to contact you at that number with calls and text messages about programs, your matches, reminders, and concierge help. You agree that we may use automated dialing systems and prerecorded or artificial voice messages to reach you. You confirm that the number you give is yours and that you will tell us if it changes.

This consent is not a condition of using Benefit Bull or of applying to any program. You can use the service without agreeing to marketing calls or texts. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies based on your activity and preferences. We do not send messages outside the hours allowed by law, and we follow stricter state quiet-hour limits where they apply.

How to stop messages

You can withdraw consent at any time. Reply STOP to any text message to stop texts, or use any other reasonable method, including replying with words like cancel, end, quit, revoke, opt out, or unsubscribe, emailing us, calling us, or asking us in writing. For emails, use the unsubscribe link or contact us. We honor opt-out requests promptly. After you opt out of marketing, we may still send you non-marketing service messages related to your account.

Carrier disclaimer

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We are not responsible for the accuracy or reliability of your carrier or device.

8. Accounts and security

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password confidential. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized use. We may suspend or limit access to protect the service, our users, or you. We are not liable for loss caused by someone using your account with or without your permission when the cause was your failure to keep your credentials secure.

9. Acceptable use

You may not use Benefit Bull to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, upload harmful code, harvest data, impersonate others, or interfere with the service or its security. We may remove content, restrict features, or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

10. Our content and intellectual property

Benefit Bull, including its name, logo, design, text, and software, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the service for your own benefit. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from any part of the service without our written permission. Government program facts themselves are public, but our presentation, organization, and matching are ours.

11. Third-party programs and links

Benefit Bull points you to programs run by government agencies, nonprofits, and other third parties, and links to their sites. We do not control those organizations and are not responsible for their decisions, their content, their availability, or their treatment of your information. Your dealings with any program are between you and that organization.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

Benefit Bull is provided on an as is and as available basis. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement, and any warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, accurate, or error free. Some states do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Benefit Bull and its owners, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or benefits, arising out of or related to your use of the service, even if we were advised of the possibility. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed one hundred dollars. Because using Benefit Bull is free, this reflects a reasonable allocation of risk. Some states do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you, and nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

14. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Benefit Bull and its owners, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your misuse of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

15. Dispute resolution, arbitration, and class waiver

Please read this section carefully. It affects how disputes are resolved and limits your ability to sue in court or take part in a class action.

Most concerns can be resolved quickly, so before starting a formal proceeding, you agree to contact us and give us a chance to resolve the issue informally within sixty days. If we cannot resolve it, you and Benefit Bull agree to resolve any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the service through final and binding individual arbitration, rather than in court, except that either party may bring a claim in small claims court, and either party may seek injunctive relief for intellectual property misuse. Arbitration is conducted by a recognized arbitration provider under its consumer rules.

You and Benefit Bull agree that each may bring claims only in an individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class or representative action. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims.

You may opt out of this arbitration agreement within thirty days of first accepting these terms by emailing us with your name and a statement that you opt out of arbitration. Opting out does not affect any other part of these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Where arbitration does not apply, disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts, and you consent to their jurisdiction, unless your state law gives you the right to a different venue.

16. Changes to the service and to these terms

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We may also update these terms as the service and the law change. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top and provide reasonable notice. Your continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

17. Termination

You may stop using Benefit Bull and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these terms or if we need to protect the service or its users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including the disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution sections.

18. Other terms

These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Benefit Bull about the service. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these terms without our consent, and we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
